Singer and actor Solar shared her emotions regarding making her film debut in the movie ‘Gwisi’.

At the film premiere of ‘Gwish’ at CGV Yongsan I’Park Mall in Ichon-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul on the 9th, Solar remarked, “I was fortunate in my life to have the opportunity to act in a horror movie.”

The film, set to premiere on the 17th, presents a mysterious tale about individuals seeking what they lack in the ghost trading market called ‘Guessi’ when the fox window is open. Directed by Hong Won-ki, known for ‘Zombie Hunter’ and ‘Seoul Ghost Story’, the movie is now in the spotlight.

Solar portrayed Mi-yeon, who traveled to a rural village in pursuit of her aspiration to become a renowned writer. Taking on his debut on-screen role, he said, “I really love horror films. When I first heard about this project from the director, I felt excited, nervous, and thrilled. Since I enjoy them so much that I often listen to horror stories and fall asleep to them, I thought making a horror movie would be a great blessing in life.” It was an honor to work with director Hong Won-ki, and it was meaningful to be alongside such talented actors.
