Family and friends have taken to social media to mourn beloved TikToker Jonathan Wanambwa, alias MC Gavin, who died at the hands of his lover on the evening of Tuesday, September 9.

Gavin is said to have met his death after his girlfriend stabbed him at a private residence in Mbale, where the TikToker was a celebrated events host.

Details shared by the Nile Post indicate that the TikToker was rushed to the hospital after the attack, only to be pronounced dead upon arrival.

His girlfriend also took her own life in the incident that has left the entire community in shock.

Details of what transpired in the moments leading to Gavin’s killing are still shrouded in mystery, but police officers have commenced investigations.

The Elgon Region Police assured family and friends that they will get to the bottom of the matter to provide them with closure.
