Why watch it?

Blair confirmed that it’s not actually Peter beneath the makeup as Toxie. “It’s not Peter, it’s a small British actress called Luisa Guerreiro. She’s from Portugal. A real tough cookie. 110 degrees, 30 pounds of special effects makeup. There are motors all over her face to move the eyebrows and other features. What she did was, and this is why I get so excited talking about it, Peter performed the entire movie on video as Toxie. Just him alone. But making the decisions, delivering the lines, physical choices, how fast he was running, everything. There’s a video version of him just in a white room performing the whole movie. Luisa takes those tapes home, memorizes them and studies them. She plays Teletubbies and Oompa Loompas. She’s a physical performer. So, she’s studying his walk, his timing, his pauses, his line delivery, all of that. She copies that on set, and then Peter, six months later, comes back and reinterprets the voice based on what she did. So, Toxie is actually Luisa playing Peter with Peter’s voice playing Luisa.”
