The collaboration centers around studies in health and biotechnology.

King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center (KFSHRC)and the Saudi Space Agency has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to promote space medicine.

Each side will concentrate on studying health and biotechnology within microgravity environments.

The pact also details collaboration on astronaut health programs, including medical services before, during, and following space missions.

The memorandum of understanding was signed by Mohammed Altamimi, the Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Saudi Space Agency, and Majid Alfayyadh, a Royal Court Advisor and Chief Executive Officer of KFSHRC.
