The COE centers on two primary forms of lung cancer.

Healthway Cancer Care Hospital in the Philippines, located inpartnership with AstraZeneca, has introduced its Lung Center of Excellence (COE) and a specialized Lung Nodule Clinic.

The COE concentrates on two primary forms of lung cancer: non-small cell lung cancer and the more severe small cell lung cancer.

Consistent with this, the center provides various treatment methods including surgery, radiation therapy, chemotherapy, molecular targeted therapy, and immunotherapy.

In the meantime, the hospital’s new clinic aims to handle lung nodules, tiny areas that can show up on chest X-rays.

The facility’s main attraction is its Low-Dose CT Lung Cancer Screening Program, which provides an annual scan requiring less radiation than a regular CT scan.
