Bizarre assertions about an unusual alien life form originating from a meteorite have drawn significant online interest this week.

The accounts started with a man who introduced himself as Kin, claiming he found a small, silver-colored meteorite in a fiery crater located in Panama’s Pedregal area on August 29.

Since that time, Kin has released a sequence of videos onTikTokdemonstrating what he referred to as the meteorite igniting leaves upon touching them and a mold-like entity emerging from its exterior.

Only a week following his first post, Kin asserted that the crater “glows at night,” posting video showing the dark area shining in an enigmatic way.

Later videos seemed to depict a collection of oily, tentacle-shaped growths expanding quickly from the rock’s cracks, ultimately surrounding the object.

The videos have become popular on social media, with some viewers stating they depict ‘a’alien“expanding,” while some consider them to be a fraud.

“Some people choose to believe, but in reality, it resembles a potato,” a user posted on X.

Kin stated that the tentacle-covered specimen must now be stored inside a large safe, but some have questioned his entire account, arguing that the organism is a typical plant and the meteorite scene was fabricated.

Despite his videos being watched millions of times, there is still no independent proof that the object is a meteorite, and no scientific analysis has been conducted on the organism growing around it.

Meteorite observers have also not verified that a celestial object descended in the area last month.

Nevertheless, Kin has stated that he sent samples of the moving tentacles to friends, but no public analysis has been conducted.

Critics on the internet have noted that a picture of the alleged crater from which Kin retrieved the meteorite seemed to show multiple matchsticks, implying the hole had been deliberately set ablaze.

Some have pointed out that Kin was able to lift the meteorite with his bare hands without any problems, even though the object had just scorched several tree leaves.

“Some individuals are eager to believe, but in truth, it resembles a potato. The shiny surface has a paint-like odor, and the fact that the camera stopped before making contact is questionable,” someone mentioned on X.

Experts have expressed worries regarding Kin’s management of the specimen, pointing out that he seemed to come into contact with the unusual tentacles using just his bare hands, potentially tainting the samples he stated were being sent for analysis.

Kin mentioned in his videos that some people have contacted him, asserting that the object he discovered was not a meteorite, but rather a plant ‘egg’ that gives rise to an organism known as Clathrus archeri, or the Devil’s Fingers fungus.

Nevertheless, Kin’s mysterious organism seems to differ from the fungus. The moving material in his container has numerous tentacles with a dark, tar-like appearance.

Regarding the Devil’s Fingers fungus, the plant is usually red and has significantly less tar-like mucus on the tentacles.

The trending phenomenon became even more alarming in the past four days, with Kin disclosing how the organism supposedly separated from the silver rock and relocated to conceal itself inside Kin’s locked safe.

“Today I was frightened and felt scared, I thought it had gotten away,” the man said.in a TikTok video translatedfrom Spanish on September 11.

As per his subsequent updates, the organism kept growing when exposed to light and was observed pulsating and moving within Kin’s kitchen, which he left dark except for directing a flashlight toward the object.

“When the night arrives, I feel at peace, knowing it won’t increase. Each time I reveal it to them, when I ignite it, it expands and puts me at risk,” Kin wrote in a recent video posted on Sunday.

The Panamanian stated that certain people had contacted him and asked him to surrender the unusual material due to ‘concern for his well-being.’

In the meantime, people on social media have cautioned Kin, expressing concerns that government officials might attempt to seize the mysterious sample from him and remove his evidence from the online world.

In a multi-lingual post, Kin urged his fans to: “Preserve the videos. They are our proof. They might all get removed.”

Although Kin’s videos have gained attention on social media, some people have stated that the entire narrative is a fraud.
