Sista Afia

Prominent Ghanaian artist Sista Afia has stated that she has collaborated with top music figures in Ghana and created successful tracks, yet she does not see herself as an A-list performer.

She revealed it during an interview on theDelay Showabout her development within the Ghanaian entertainment sector.

Among her standout collaborative tracks are ‘Baabiaa,’ a touching love song with King Paluta; ‘2 Things,’ an energetic party track combining Highlife and Afrobeats with Amerado; ‘Asuoden,’ featuring Kuami Eugene; ‘Woman (Girls Anthem),’ with Okyeame Kwame; ‘Sika (Remix)’ and ‘Broken Heart,’ which included Sarkodie; as well as contributions from Mr Drew and Strongman in the track ‘Case,’ ‘More Money’ with Wendy Shay and Eno Barony, and a version featuring only Wendy Shay, along with other projects.

When questioned if she is considered an A-list performer due to her collaborations and popular tracks over the years, Sista Afia firmly responded that she is not yet an A-list artist.

I’m saying I’m on the way, but I haven’t arrived yet,” she emphasized. When asked what she needs to be part of the top-tier artistes, she explained, “When I have the right people around me and the proper branding. Money will also assist in raising my status in the industry.

Sista Afia revealed that fans should anticipate a new iteration of her, as she is determined to release consecutive hits this year.
