Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are involved in a police incident. A 48-year-old process server was taken into custody outside the home of the Kansas City Chiefs player after reportedly trying to deliver Swift legal documents connected to the ongoing legal dispute between Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively, according to several media sources.

As per an offense report from the Leawood Police Department obtained by E! News, the intruder was taken into custody just after 2 a.m. on September 15. The individual, who faced charges of misdemeanor criminal trespassing, was subsequently released following the payment of bail. As reported by Star, which was the first to alert about the incident, the man is scheduled to appear in court again on October 15.

E! News has contacted representatives for Swift, Baldoni, and Lively for their response. Before the incident, it was reported that Swift had agreed to give a deposition in Lively and Baldoni’s legal case regarding their 2024 film It Ends With Us, as stated in documents obtained by Us Weekly on September 12.

However, in a court letter released later that day and obtained by E! News, a lawyer for the singer—whose song “My Tears Ricochet” appeared in the film and its trailer—explained that she “did not consent to a deposition,” while adding that she would be available between October 20 and October 25 “if compelled to appear for a deposition.”

A judge decided that Swift would not be removed, as reported by several sources. E! News has contacted Baldoni’s representative for a statement but has not received a response. Lively’s representative did not provide any comment.

In the meantime, Baldoni has broadened his legal team in preparation for the case scheduled to begin in March 2026. The actor from “Jane the Virgin” has brought on criminal defense lawyer Alexandra Shapiro, who previously assisted in Sean “Diddy” Combs’ defense during his sex trafficking trial earlier this year, as his representative in the current legal conflict, as revealed in court documents obtained by People on September 18.

E! News contacted Shapiro, as well as Baldoni’s representative, for a statement at that time but did not receive a response.
