The news was shared by the actors and directors through an Instagram post, which excited fans with the message: “We’ll meet again. Neelofar – This winter.”

The production of Neelofar concluded in December 2020, yet delays caused by the pandemic kept fans waiting for several years. Mahira Khan had earlier expressed her enthusiasm while working on the film, highlighting the emotional bond she developed with the project and commending the team’s commitment. Fawad Khan also mentioned in mid-2024 that the movie was close to being finished.
