Director Park Chan-wook’s latest movie, *‘No Other Choice’*, crossed the 1 million viewer mark by the afternoon of the 28th, which was the fifth day since its debut.
As per distributor CJ ENM, the movie *‘No Other Choice’*, which premiered on the 24th, surpassed the 1 million mark around 2 p.m. on that day. It is performing at a comparable rate to this year’s highest-attended film, *‘Zombie Daughter’* (5.62 million), which hit 1 million on its fourth day. *‘No Other Choice’* also remained in first place in real-time bookings (around 90,000, 28%, as of 3 p.m.).
The movie *‘No Other Choice’* has been selected as South Korea’s official submission for the International Feature Film category at the 98th Academy Awards, which is set to occur next March. The top five finalists will be revealed this December.
