Ferryhopper’s study ranked it third, and Ibiza is well-known for its lively nightlife as well as its beautiful white sand beaches.
The vibrant spot has 20,967,809 Instagram photos showcasing its attractions.
Mallorca ranked fourth, with 16,078,715 uploads overall on the social media platform, another Spanish island attracting tourists thanks to its beautiful coastlines.
Portugal has also left a positive impression on visitors, ranking fifth with Porto, a coastal city situated in the northwestern part of the country.

The well-known spot ranked ninth and has 4,464,326 Instagram photos associated with it.
An Italian location, Positano, has been photographed 3,258,123 times.
