Prominent Ghanaian entrepreneur Nadine Jaber has urged students at Manhean T.M.A. 1 Junior High School in Tema to concentrate on their studies and maintain discipline in order to become successful and responsible adults.

The head of Cosmo Developers issued this call while presenting vital supplies to the school, such as: stationery, backpacks, student desks, personal care items, and beverages, including more than 200 packages of Perla mineral water and a variety of soft drinks.

During an emotional address at the event, Nadine Jaber, the Chief Executive Officer of Cosmo Developers, stated that this action is part of their corporate social responsibility, designed to create a supportive learning atmosphere and promote the welfare of students throughout Ghana.

“This contribution goes beyond providing materials; it’s about letting these students know they are valued. Education forms the basis of every successful society, and Cosmo Developers is pleased to support its development. My company is working to bring about positive change by making Ghana more attractive through the construction of aesthetically pleasing structures. I believe in giving back to the community because I am confident that the community will support me in return,” Nadine emphasized.

“Teaching is a challenging profession, yet students can occasionally make it simpler. Therefore, I urge the students to support your teachers to assist you, as you are the future of Ghana,” she warned.

The principal of the school, Gifty Adjoa Mensah, stated that the stationery and bags would help students to participate more effectively in their studies, while the desks would alleviate classroom overcrowding. Additionally, the toiletries and refreshments would improve student hygiene and increase morale.

The Deputy Director for Monitoring and Supervision at the Tema Metropolitan Education Directorate, Madam Christiana Ablakwa, highlighted the advantages of contributions from companies and individuals to the growth of education and the nation’s human capital in her comments.

“When companies visit our schools to offer assistance, I am very pleased because our schools are not private, and our students mostly come from disadvantaged families where parents are working hard to cover basic expenses. Many of our students have become parents themselves, as they need to go to work after school to earn money for their study materials, while some arrive at school without having eaten anything,” she said.

The Chief Executive Officer once more confirmed the company’s dedication to promoting educational programs, empowering young people and women, and advancing community growth throughout Ghana.

The students delighted Madam Nadine Jaber and her group with cultural performances, poetry recitations, and gave her a bouquet of flowers as a gesture of their gratitude.
