Feeney and Payne will receive a 25-point advantage when the season-ending Finals commence on the Gold Coast streets in two weeks.

The competition to secure the top 10 was decided in the final moments of the 1000. Randle faced two five-second time penalties due to rule violations during the race, which pushed him down to 11th place, while Wood seemed to have the race under control until a faulty engine sensor caused issues – quick action from the WAU team enabled him to return to the track and finish 19th, earning points.

Similarly, Anton De Pasquale needed to make pit stops for fixes following the damage to his Team 18 Chevrolet, resulting in a 20th place finish in the race.

TheErebus MotorsportThe driver finished 23rd in the points at Bathurst, but if he had won the race, which seemed possible with just a few laps left, he and co-driver Jobe Stewart would have secured the Endurance Cup and a place in the Finals.

The 10 drivers competing for the title, along with the 14 who are not, will take their positions on the streets of the Gold Coast on 24-25 October.
