Prominent Rwandan group, the Ambassadors of Christ Choir, has revealed their upcoming mission journey to Kenya, where they will appear as special performers at a significant gospel event in Nairobi.

The choir’s next visit will be to the East African nation, following a major show in Kampala, Uganda on September 7.

The Kampala event was organized by Mwalimu Ssozi Joram, a prominent gospel music director, composer, and individual performer.

Members of the Christ Choir are well-known to the Kenyan public, having served in various regions of the country for many years.

“In 2012, our group took part in events at Awendo West (Sony Sugar), Nyayo Stadium, and subsequently at Naivasha Grounds in 2013. We also conducted ministry activities at the Kenya International Conference Centre (KICC) and our most recent performance was in Kizingo, Mombasa, in 2016,” said Gertrude Munyana, the choir’s Public Relations Officer.The New Times.

This time, the Ambassadors of Christ will be serving in Nairobi, invited by the Vocals of Praise choir, which is commemorating its 10th anniversary in gospel music and five years of the ‘Sing to Save a Soul Initiative.’

“We are proud to be a guest choir participating in this impactful initiative that promotes hope, increases cancer awareness, and inspires communities through music,” said Munyana, who mentioned that the choir is profoundly touched by the event’s mission and is excited to assist their Kenyan peers in this significant endeavor.

The key aspect is experiencing the happiness associated with this meaningful effort. The ‘Sing to Save a Soul’ initiative is a strong ministry that affects lives throughout Kenya via music.

We are also thrilled to reconnect with our Kenyan audience, particularly because our last trip to Mombasa was in 2016. We sincerely invite all Kenyans to be part of this uplifting ministry.
