Pakistan, October 14 — The Kuwait-Pakistan Business Expo 2025, set to take place from December 11 to 13 in Kuwait, aims to offer a top-tier platform for showcasing Pakistani goods, investigating collaborative opportunities, and strengthening trade and investment partnerships.
“Pakistan and Kuwait, connected by long-standing bonds of friendship and mutual assistance, are poised to make another significant move in enhancing their economic ties via the upcoming Expo,” said Sardar Tahir Mehmood, President of ICCI.
In conversation with a visiting group from the Expo’s organizing committee, Sardar Tahir Mehmood, President of the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI), mentioned that economic relations between the two nations have consistently improved, backed by years of mutual trust and collaboration.
He observed that Kuwait has consistently supported Pakistan during difficult periods, with both nations having established multiple agreements in areas such as defense, investment, and healthcare collaboration.
Tahir Mehmood highlighted the importance of business sectors in both nations working proactively to discover collaborative projects and alliances in order to maximize shared trade and investment opportunities.
He showed assurance that the exhibition would act as a driver for expanding trade, fostering industrial partnerships, and promoting economic development.
By fostering stronger collaborations and a deeper shared understanding, both nations can establish a fair and mutually beneficial trade relationship that supports our economies and enhances their bilateral connections, he stated.
The head of the Kuwaiti delegation, Muhammad Saleem Ansari, together with Dr. S. Sam, stated that the Expo would present a significant chance for Pakistani businesspeople to demonstrate their skills and increase their presence in the Gulf region.
They mentioned that the purpose of the expo is to create a top-tier exhibition platform aimed at encouraging trade, investment, and collaborations between Pakistani companies and the Kuwaiti market, thus enhancing shared prosperity.
In his closing remarks, ICCI Senior Vice President Tahir Ayub emphasized the Chamber’s dedication to enhancing strong trade and investment ties between the two nations.
He pledged that ICCI would take an active part in advancing the event using its wide-ranging communication and business connections.
He praised the initiative as a perfect opportunity for Pakistani investors and businesspeople to establish lasting connections with their peers in Kuwait and throughout the region.
Vice President Mohammad Irfan Chaudhry, along with Executive Members Malik Aqeel Ahmad and Imran Minhas, and ICCI member Israr ul Haq Mishwani, were also present at the event.
