, October 14 — The singer and actor Lady Gaga is said to have been added to the cast of Disney’s new film that follows the 2006 popular movie The Devil Wears Prada.

According to Variety, Gaga was seen at the set, verifying her participation. Information regarding her part has not been disclosed yet.

The follow-up will feature Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tucci once again. Production started in June, with the film set to come out on May 1, 2026.

Once more directed by David Frankel, the plot picks up where the first movie left off, focusing on Andy (Hathaway) as she deals with her position at the renowned Runway magazine under the leadership of editor Miranda Priestly (Streep).

Additional actors in the sequel are Kenneth Branagh, Lucy Liu, Justin Theroux, B J Novak, Pauline Chalamet, and Simone Ashley. The movie is directed by Wendy Finerman and Karen Rosenfelt and scripted by Aline Brosh McKenna.
