, October 14 — Bollywood actor Salman Khan has addressed the long-standing rumors about his alleged falling out with singer Arijit Singh, stating it was a miscommunication on his part.
On a recent episode of Bigg Boss 19, Salman mentioned that there was never any genuine conflict between him and Arijit. He stated, “Arijit and I are very close friends. The misunderstanding was on my part. Since then, he has even sung songs for me – in Tiger 3 and now in Galwan.”
Stories of a disagreement started after the 2014 Star Guild Awards, when a casual conversation between Salman and Arijit was supposedly misunderstood. After that, it was reported that Arijit was replaced on tracks for movies such as Kick, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, and Sultan.
In 2016, Arijit also responded to the rumors on social media, seeking Salman’s pardon and explaining that there was no desire to cause offense.
Salman’s most recent comment ultimately verifies that the matter was a private miscommunication and that both parties still maintain a positive connection.
