, October 17 — BNP leader Khaleda Zia went back to her residence on Friday evening following a two-day stay at Evercare Hospital for medical care.

“Madam (Khaleda) was released from the hospital according to the medical board’s recommendation,” stated her personal doctor, Prof AZM Zahid Hossain.

He mentioned that the BNP leader departed the hospital around 11 p.m. and arrived at her residence soon after.

She was hospitalized in the early morning hours of Thursday and underwent multiple medical examinations as recommended by her medical team.

Following an evaluation of the test results and her general health, Zahid stated that the medical team opted to release her.

Khaleda was admitted to Evercare for medical examinations

On August 28 earlier, Khaleda went to Evercare Hospital for some routine examinations and went back home that same evening after finishing them.

An 80-year-old ex-Prime Minister has been dealing with arthritis, diabetes, and problems affecting her kidneys, lungs, and eyes, along with various other medical conditions.
