Sri Lanka, Oct. 23 — The KENIHA ASD Club and Sports Academy effectively hosted the first edition of KENIHA Hoops & Goals 2025, an international Netball and Basketball competition that took place recently at the Centro Asteria Sports Stadium in Milan, Italy.
The gathering was specifically organized for the Sri Lankan community in Italy and throughout Europe, uniting skilled athletes and promoting togetherness through sports. In the Netball finals, the Feathers Netball Team competed against the KENIHA Netball Team, with Feathers winning the tournament.
In the Basketball conference, the Kihmera Team and N Milano Team reached the finals, with Kihmera winning the championship title following an exciting game.
The event represented a major step forward in showcasing Sri Lankan athletic talent globally and enhancing connections within communities throughout Europe.
