Morocco is taking part in the FIA MENA Nations Cup for karting, which takes place from October 22 to 25 at the Lusail Circuit in Doha, Qatar, with a single objective: to regain the regional title against the leading countries from the Middle East and North Africa.

A previous champion in 2023 and a finalist in 2020 and 2024, Morocco is sending a team of 15 drivers, with the seasoned Nadir Kabbage at the helm. The Royal Moroccan Federation of Motor Sports (FRMSA), which has been identifying promising young talent for the last four years, is now witnessing the outcomes of its initiatives.

This year’s participants in the MICRO MAX category are Issac El Haouti (9) and Ayden Ouaich (10), while young Moroccan champion Nahyl El Gahoudi advances to MINI MAX with the goal of securing first place. In the JUNIOR MAX category, Riyad Yousfi will represent Morocco’s interests, and Yanis Martin, El Ghali Sabil, and Anis Tazi will compete in SENIOR MAX, according to a press release from FRMSA.

In the DD2 and DD2 MASTER classes, Morocco will be showcased by Rayane Laamarti, Ghali El Fechtali, and Nadir Kabbage. From the 4-stroke national championship, Tarik Almou, Ahmed Erquizi, Mahdi Kadiri, Saïd Bouchoua, and Nizar El Haddad have been chosen to take part in sprint and endurance races.

Leveraging significant human and technological resources, the FRMSA is determined to return the MENA Nations Cup trophy to Morocco. The championship match is scheduled for Saturday, October 25, 2025.
