Al-Gadarif, October 24 (SUNA) – The administration of Al-Gadarif State and the Federal Department of Animal Resources and Fisheries have reached an agreement to speed up efforts to create the Animal Production City, which will feature various initiatives connected to animal farming, including abattoirs, leather processing units, meat and dairy processing plants, and feed production facilities, among others.

This took place during a joint meeting held on Friday evening at the Guest House, involving the Minister of Animal Resources and Fisheries, Dr. Ahmed Al-Tijani Al-Mansouri, and the State Government led by Lt. Gen. Mohamed Ahmed Hassan.

The minister stated that the creation of this city will provide significant advantages to the state, producers, and exporters, while also increasing the sector’s income and enhancing the value of its goods.

The gathering also addressed elements of collaboration and coordination between the two parties to carry out initiatives focused on enhancing and progressing the animal resources industry within the state.
