Jude Bellingham shared a post on social media following his goal in Real Madrid’s 2-1 win against Barcelona in the El Clásico on Sunday evening.

The game at Santiago Bernabeu was filled with intense moments, as multiple Real Madrid players confronted 18-year-old Yamal following his controversial pre-match remarks. Dani Carvajal and Thibaut Courtois were observed scolding the young striker, and the situation worsened when Vinicius Jr. got involved, leading teammates to intervene and break up the conflict.

Spanish newspaper ASstated that Yamal reportedly invited Vinicius to a private showdown, escalating the frustration of the Brazilian player.

Bellingham stayed out of the conflict but shared a short message on Instagram, along with pictures from the game.

“Talk is cheap. HALA MADRID SIEMPRE!!!” he wrote.

Last week, during an appearance on the channel of former Barcelona star Gerard Pique’s seven-a-side Kings League, Yamal seized the opportunity to tease his rivals by comparing Real Madrid to a team in the competition.

“Yes, they steal, they protest, they carry out actions…” Yamal said, as reported byThe Sun.

Madrid fans also responded to Yamal. Veteran commentator Tomas Roncero humorously expressed gratitude to Yamal during a live broadcast ofCadena SER, indicating that the young star’s statements offered additional inspiration to Real Madrid players.

Yamal, an 18-year-old boy, lost his composure and made a verbal mistake,” Roncero wrote. “However, I must thank him, as he was the one who intensified the tension at Bernabeu from the very beginning.

Amid the debate, Yamal’s father, Mounir Nasraoui, stood by his son on social media, sharing an image of Yamal with the message: “You’re only 18, my son. See you in Barcelona,” and later added, “Until death do us part,” to express his backing.

On the field, Bellingham delivered an outstanding display. He provided the assist for Kylian Mbappé’s first goal in the 22nd minute and later found the back of the net to secure the victory. At 22 years and 119 days, Bellingham became the youngest Real Madrid player of the 21st century to both score and create a goal against Barcelona in any competition, breaking the record held by teammate Vinicius (22 years, 267 days) from the Copa del Rey game in April 2023.

On the other hand, Yamal had a calm evening, participating in the entire 90 minutes but managing just four successful dribbles out of eight attempts and losing the ball 22 times.
