Juventusare reportedly planning to separate from head coach Igor Tudor after a string of underwhelming performances that have placed the team in a difficult position within Serie A.

Transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano firsttweetedthat the club was “on the brink of dismissing Tudor” following a series of poor performances, and that official actions for a new manager would come shortly. Subsequent reports suggest the board has chosen for Tudor to depart, with Massimo Brambilla set to assume control temporarily.

The Croatian manager, previously celebrated as a club legend, moved to Juventus in March 2025 to take over from Thiago Motta amid a Champions League qualification challenge. Although beginning well, the team has now gone eight matches without a victory, including a 2-0 loss to Lazio this past weekend. Juventus is currently positioned eighth, eight points behind the top four.

Athletes reportedly found it difficult to cope with Tudor’s intense style, which had worked well at Hajduk Split, and the team’s atmosphere is believed to have deteriorated. Top forward Dusan Vlahovic has managed to score just twice this season, while midfielder Manuel Locatelli has had trouble making an impact in games.

Club director Cristiano Giuntoli had recently expressed support for Igor Tudor, but the board seems to have collectively decided that a change is needed to save the season. Juventus will now play against Udinese under temporary leadership as they aim to reverse their campaign’s trajectory.
