The team consisting of Vishesh Sonigra, Palash Tank, Sunil Parmar, and Shafiq Dossaji has pledged to win the KCB East Africa Swing final.
The four players achieved a total of 114 points to win the KCB East Africa Golf Tour at the Vetlab Sports Club.
Vishesh Sonigra stated: “We entered with a well-defined plan: play intelligently, maintain consistency, and have faith in each other’s abilities. Each shot was crucial, and our collaboration was the key to success.”
The contest has been intense all along the tour, yet we remain driven and working even harder for the final event. Our aim is to conclude powerfully and claim the overall championship.
Eric Wakarima, Peter Kiige, Harrison Kariuki, and Henry Kamuti accumulated a total of 110 points to place second in the competition, which attracted more than 200 golfers.
In the individual categories, Joe Kisolo with a handicap of 12 was named the overall champion with 41 points, while Palash Tank, competing with a handicap of 13, secured the men’s title with the same score.
Handicap 23 Chemutai Kenei was the female champion, scoring 41 points.
Anthony Mulisa, competing with a handicap of 27, won the staff category with 37 points, while George Gacheru (HC21) took the guest winner title by achieving 39 points.
Other notable perfoPerformances featured Peter Njuguna (HC15), who earned second place among the staff with 36 points, and Junior Winner Junaid Manji (HC1), who scored 40 points to lead his category.
The men’s longest drive prize was won by Brian Akun, while Joy Ndonga claimed the women’s championship.
The closest to the pin award was won by Brian Akun, demonstrating accuracy and expertise on the putting green.
On Monday, KCB will organize a caddie competition at the same location, demonstrating its dedication to ensuring the 2025 KCB East Africa Golf Tour is accessible to everyone involved in the sport.
Previous competitions have already taken place in Nyeri and Nakuru, providing caddies throughout the nation with an opportunity to demonstrate their abilities and engage in the broader golf scene.
The 26th stage of the KCB East Africa Golf Tour is scheduled to take place at the Migaa Golf Course on November 1.
