Kim Kardashianmade the confusing statement this week thatShe is convinced that the 1969 moon landing was a sophisticated deception.

Justifying her belief in the conspiracy theory, thereality TVStar said: “There is no gravity on the moon – why is the flag moving?”

The shoes displayed in the museum, which they wore on the moon, have a different footprint compared to the photographs. Why are there no stars?

Regrettably for Kim, there are three crucial pieces of evidence that establishNASAThe Apollo 11 mission was genuine.

In an interview with the Daily Mail, experts state that we must examine the scientific instruments left by astronauts, the 380 kilograms of rock they collected, and the 8,400 photos that are openly accessible from their time there.

Dr. Greg Brown, an astronomer at the Royal Observatory Greenwich, said to the Daily Mail: ‘From theSecond World Warforward, rocket technology existed that was at least theoretically able to reach the Moon.

But the technology to counterfeit it did not.

Although it may seem unusual, the simplest method to simulate the Moon landings would have been to shoot them on-site.

1. Gear located on the moon

When the Apollo 11 mission touched down on the moon in 1969, astronauts Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin did not depart the lunar surface in its original state.

Each NASA expedition to the moon’s surface has resulted in a path of discarded landers, rovers, and different scientific instruments.

Although these are hard to observe from Earth, newer missions have verified their continued existence.

In 2011, the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter produced the most detailed map of the moon to date, generating hundreds of terabytes of imagery.

The spacecraft has captured images of three Apollo landing locations – Apollo 12, 14, and 17 – with an extraordinary degree of precision.

In images of the Apollo 12 landing area, you can clearly spot the astronauts’ footprints, which have remained intact on the airless lunar terrain for many years.

Dr. Brown states, “This visual representation has been confirmed by organizations globally, not solely by NASA and the United States.”

Proof the moon landings happened

1. The lunar laser ranging retroreflector array

  • Apollo 11 astronauts left a reflective device on the moon.
  • Scientists today continue to use lasers reflected off this to determine the moon’s distance.

2. Lunar rocks

  • NASA has retrieved 382 kilograms of moon rock and material.
  • These specimens have been examined separately in laboratories across the globe, which have confirmed their source.

3. Lack of objection

  • Even during the peak of the Cold War, the Soviet Union did not challenge the authenticity of the moon landings, even though they had a reason to.

If that wasn’t sufficient, you might examine the data collected by the scientific instruments that astronauts placed.

Apollo 11, 12, 14, 15, and 16 each placed seismic instruments on the Moon to track how asteroid impacts’ vibrations moved through the lunar surface.

This information played a crucial role in enhancing our knowledge about the moon’s makeup and origin.

However, most importantly, Apollo 11 placed a device known as the lunar laser ranging retroreflector array, which is basically a big mirror.

“These continue to be utilized today for accurately measuring the distance to the Moon by reflecting laser light off them and calculating the time it takes for the beam to return,” states Dr. Brown.

‘It is these measurements that revealed that the Moon is moving very slowly away from the Earth at around the rate your fingernails grow!’

2. Lunar rocks

In addition to leaving items behind, NASA astronauts also brought numerous mementos back with them after returning from the moon.

In total, throughout all the Apollo missions, NASA has retrieved 382 kilograms of moon rock and material.

These rocks have been sent to laboratories across the globe for examination, including to laboratories in Russia and China, which would have been eager to demonstrate the landings were a fraud.

Dr. Brown states, “The analysis has revealed that the moon’s makeup is somewhat comparable to Earth in certain aspects, but it also exhibits significant distinctions.”

Lunar rocks have a unique mix of minerals and isotopes that differ from those on Earth, indicating they originated from outside our planet.

Researchers can also analyze these samples alongside so-called lunar meteorites, which are fragments of rock that have reached Earth following their removal from the Moon.

Today, these samples may now becompared to lunar rocks collected by China’s Chang’e–5 and Chang’e–6 missions.

At no point in the five decades these rocks have been available for study has anyone found evidence that they didn’t come from the moon.

Furthermore, the moon rocks collected by NASA serve as the foundation for our scientific understanding of the moon.

The evidence that the moon possesses rocks that are similar yet slightly different from those on Earth implies they could share a common source.

This has provided backing to the idea that the Moon probablycreated by a collision between the early Earth and a planet roughly the size of Mars“when the Earth was still largely molten,” says Dr. Brown.

3. It would have been almost impossible to counterfeit

One of the most compelling proofs that the moon landings actually took place is the sheer difficulty involved in faking them.

Dr. Brown states, “In an era dominated by AI visuals and special effects, it’s often easy to overlook the fact that, not long ago, creating realistic footage of individuals in space was simply unachievable.”

More than 8,000 photographs, thousands of hours of video material, and countless recordings of communications between the spacecraft and Earth during the moon landing are accessible to everyone.

Nevertheless, no one has discovered substantial evidence of interference or confirmed that the images were not captured on the moon.

“Additionally, the Space Race was merely a rivalry between the USA and the USSR,” says Dr. Brown.

Although the USSR achieved several early milestones, they never contested that the USA was the first to land on the Moon, a notable consensus given the political climate of that era.

At the same time, each mission was closely monitored by observers from various countries using radio signals, and no misconduct was found.

In reality, following the moon missions was remarkably straightforward, as a group of students from Kettering Grammar School managed to track Soviet and American missions using just simple radio equipment.

The Apollo missions demanded the participation of a large number of individuals, including researchers, maintenance staff, and security personnel.

At the lowest level, this implies that tens of thousands of individuals were involved in the conspiracy, yet no reliable proof of deception has ever surfaced.

Similarly, none of the claimed arguments suggesting the landings were faked, including those posted by Kim Kardashian, withstand any examination.

For instance, Kim points out that the stars are not visible in photographs from the moon landing.

Nevertheless, instead of being a major mistake in an otherwise perfect conspiracy, this is merely a characteristic of how cameras function.

“Cameras function similarly to our eyes, able to detect both bright and dim objects, but not with equal precision simultaneously,” says Dr. Brown.

During the day on the Moon, the surface receives illumination as intense as a sunny day on Earth, despite the black sky caused by the absence of an atmosphere.

That means a camera cannot take clear pictures that show both the brightly lit astronauts and the faint stars.

Dr. Brown states, “If you’d like to conduct a test on your own, go outside at night, position yourself under a strong light source, and attempt to capture a sharp photo of yourself while also including the stars in the background.”

Although not entirely impossible, it is extremely challenging without significant effort.

How can we be certain that the moon landings were genuine?

Physical evidence

When the Apollo 11 mission touched down on the moon, they accomplished more than just jumping around and capturing some pictures.

The team installed a retroreflector array on the moon’s surface made up of 100 glass prisms that function as a large mirror.

This enables Earth-based observatories to reflect lasers off the moon and precisely measure its distance from our planet.

Furthermore, the Apollo missions collected 382 kg (842 lbs) of rock samples from six distinct lunar locations.

These have been thoroughly examined by independent researchers, revealing that they possess a distinct chemical makeup that differs from Earth’s rocks.

Observations at the time

Besides this evidence, we also have modern observations that capture the precise moment the lander landed on the moon.

At the Jodrell Bank radio telescope located in Cheshire, Sir Bernard Lovell and his group meticulously documented the exact trajectory of the lunar lander.

These recordings are so accurate that you can clearly observe the exact moment Neil Armstrong took over control of the lunar module.

This provides remarkable proof from that era demonstrating the lander’s descent onto the moon.

The vulnerability of opposing arguments

A major factor confirming the authenticity of the moon landings is the absence of any proof indicating they were staged.

One of the frequently cited conspiracy theories suggests that the shadows in a photograph captured by Neil Armstrong are not aligned.

However, even on Earth, it is simple to notice cases where two parallel lines seem non-parallel when a low sun casts light over uneven terrain.

Others also wonder how the flag placed on the moon appears to be fluttering as if caught in a breeze.

Nevertheless, a more detailed look at the flag in the image distinctly reveals a metallic rod supporting it.

The flag is damaged following four days of storage during transit and stays creased exactly because there is no wind and minimal gravity on the moon.

Ultimately, maintaining the secrecy of a fabricated moon landing and ensuring no proof leaks would necessitate the involvement of thousands of scientists, government personnel, camera teams, and stage designers over more than half a century.

The notion that this could apply to any government worldwide is significantly less believable compared to the concept of a rocket transporting a crew to the moon.
