Dhaka, November 3 – The administration on Monday called on anti-fascist political groups to resolve conflicting matters via dialogue within a week, including the execution of the July Charter and the suggested referendum.

“Concerning the timing of the referendum—when it will take place and what it will address—as well as the actions to be taken in response to the objections outlined in the July Charter, the meeting stated that a conclusive decision should be reached promptly according to the recommendations put forward by the Consensus Commission,” said Law Adviser Asif Nazrul.

Following a meeting of the Council of Advisers at the Chief Adviser’s Office, he stated, “The gathering urged the longstanding allied political parties of the anti-fascist movement to engage in discussions among themselves and, if feasible, to present the government with a unified directive within the coming week on this matter.”

The Advisor, nevertheless, stated that the government will not initiate any actions to facilitate such conversations.

He mentioned that should political parties be unable to resolve their conflicts, the government will take action independently.
