J V Srinivas, Lead Senior Consultant in Orthopaedics and Joint Replacement, stated that the technology allows surgeons to reduce bone removal when inserting new implants.
“Traditional surgery usually involves a set level of bone removal, which might not be suitable for complicated revision cases,” Srinivas noted.
