TottenhamUndergone a major transformation in recent times, with considerable changes to the team since Jose Mourinho departed the club four years ago.

As Harry Kane enjoys scoring goals effortlessly in the Bundesliga, some of their other notable former players are currently having difficulty securing a new team.

We have selected six ex-Tottenham players who are currently without a team.

Dele Alli

After a brief period with Como, the 29-year-old is now without a team.

A few Championship teams have been connected with the forward, such as Wrexham, Birmingham, and West Brom, but he has not yet decided on a club.

You envision that there’s a part of every coach that would believe in their ability to bring Dele back to his former form at Tottenham. The player himself has mentioned his high aspirations to make it into England’s World Cup team next year.

He’s now genuinely at the last chance saloon. At this stage, it would be a small miracle for Dele to regain the high level he showed in 2016-17.

Sergio Reguilon

Among the players on this list who are currently without a team, Reguilon stands out as the most unexpected.

He is 28 years old, has been associated with many clubs in recent months, but hasn’t decided on a team to join yet.

A few Premier League clubs have been monitoring him, and he has also drawn attention from the MLS team Inter Miami.

Reguilon performed consistently during his time at Tottenham and is definitely a worthwhile bet for someone.

Ryan Fredericks

Fredericks had only a few brief appearances in the cup for his childhood club Spurs before moving on to build a career elsewhere, mainly playing for Fulham and West Ham.

He has remained somewhat overlooked since moving to newly-promoted Bournemouth in 2022.

The full-back never managed to break into the main squad for the Cherries as they secured their place back in the top division and failed to get any playing time under Andoni Iraola because of “repeated injuries.”

Fredericks has remained single since 2024. You might assume that the 33-year-old will probably need to return to the Championship soon if he wants to continue his career.

Fraser Forster

Having spent the past few years sitting on the bench at Tottenham, Forster is currently without a team.

The imposing goalkeeper hasn’t featured in the lower divisions since his time at Norwich in 2009, but could contemplate a move down if no Premier League team faces a goalkeeper crisis.

Clinton N’Jie

It’s reasonable to conclude that N’Jie never found success at Tottenham.

Acquired to bring fresh attacking energy from the wing, the Cameroonian international suffered a tear to his medial collateral ligament during an Europa League game in December 2015 and made a return the subsequent May.

At that time, Spurs had already moved on, and following just a single appearance in the Premier League as a substitute, N’Jie signed with Marseille on a temporary basis for the entire 2016-17 season.

He experienced some level of success in France, and Marseille decided to finalize N’Jie’s transfer the subsequent summer. It remained unclear if Tottenham incurred a loss on his £8.3 million fee.

Currently in his 30s, N’Jie remains single after playing for Dynamo Moscow, Sivasspor, and Rapid Bucharest.

Josh Onomah

Well-regarded during his tenure at Tottenham, Onomah failed to fully capitalize on his initial promise and was transferred to Fulham in 2019.

He assisted the Cottagers in securing promotions on two occasions as the team moved between the Premier League and Championship, but saw minimal playing time under Marco Silva during the 2022-23 season and was subsequently let go when his contract expired.

Onomah had a short period with Preston but did not renew his agreement past the original six-month term.

His final team was Blackpool, where he featured in 15 games during the previous season, but Omomah is currently without a club at 28 years old.
