The Balochistan Sports Board (BSB) has officially filed a complaint against the Balochistan Football Association (BFA), expressing significant worries about the behavior of its leaders and their suspected involvement in obstructing the growth of football in the province.
As per football sources, the BSB, in its official correspondence, voiced discontent with the way BFA officials have been functioning, stating that rather than supporting the advancement and development of the sport, their actions have led to administrative and developmental challenges for football in Balochistan.
The correspondence also points out worries that some members of the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) Congress and Executive Committee from Balochistan have been fueling unrest at the national level, making it more challenging to bring back stability and proper administration in Pakistani football.
Strong criticism has been leveled at the recent PFF Elective Congress, which took place on December 28, 2025, with the aim of selecting two members for the PFF Executive Committee. According to reports, BFA Congress members did not attend the event even though they were in Lahore, near the location where the meeting was held. It has also been pointed out that the PFF had arranged return air tickets, hotel stays, daily allowances, and complete logistical assistance for the relevant BFA Congress members to ensure their presence. Their non-attendance, therefore, has sparked doubts about their intentions and dedication to the electoral process.
Individuals with knowledge of the matter revealed that warning letters have already been sent to multiple BFA Congress members, such as Jamil Sarpara, Abdul Malik, and Nasarullah, requesting them to provide justifications for their actions. Furthermore, two Congress members from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Asghar Khan and Nasar Ullah, have also received warning letters for comparable reasons.
