A British grenade from World War II was found on Wednesday morning in Aberdeen Country Park, Hong Kong, as reported by the police.
The Model 36M grenade, which is approximately four inches in length and 2.5 inches in width, was discovered by employees from the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department while they were filling a hole on a walking trail.
A police spokesperson stated that personnel from the explosive ordnance disposal unit managed the grenade without any harm occurring.

No evacuation was required, but authorities blocked off zones within a 100-metre (328 feet) area while the operation was taking place.
