Defense Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif stated on Tuesday that the Pakistan Armed Forces are completely capable of dealing with any hostile act from an enemy nation. He mentioned that the global community has recognized and witnessed the professional skills of the Pakistan Armed Forces during the conflict with India in May 2025. He added that India has lost its confidence after being defeated by Pakistan. When asked about a potential aggression from India, he said that the Pakistan Armed Forces are fully ready to respond appropriately. He also claimed that Narendra Modi has lost credibility both internally and externally. Regarding the Afghan Taliban, he stated that they and the TTP cannot be trusted. On another question, he said that they are not in favor of banning the Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI).
