Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir stated that Pakistan’s military forces are always on high alert and ready to protect the nation’s boundaries and maintain domestic safety.
As per a release from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the field marshal toured the Lahore Garrison, where he assessed operational readiness and received updates on major projects focused on raising training quality and boosting combat effectiveness.
Throughout his visit, he evaluated the unit’s training and combat readiness, and witnessed a specialized field exercise that integrated advanced technologies. The exercise showcased the real-world use of cutting-edge systems and underscored the army’s focus on innovation, flexibility, and readiness in alignment with upcoming battlefield needs.
Emphasizing the significance of modernization and innovation to stay aligned with changing military scenarios, the head of the defense forces also reviewed sports and leisure areas for personnel, highlighting the importance of preserving physical health and strong morale.
Field Marshal Asim Munir also toured the High Care Centre at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Lahore, where he praised the medical team for offering state-of-the-art and thorough healthcare services.
Emphasizing a policy of strict intolerance for any threat to national security, he stated that the military was promoting a culture of professionalism, discipline, and dedicated service, and reasserted the armed forces’ dedication to protecting Pakistan’s sovereignty, territorial unity, and internal peace.
