Air Force Chief Hasan Mahmood Khan, the head of the Bangladesh Air Force, visited Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), HJ, COAS and CDF, at the General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi on Thursday.

As per a press statement released by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), during the meeting, topics of mutual interest, regional security situations, and opportunities to boost bilateral defense and military collaboration were addressed. Both parties emphasized the significance of enhancing professional cooperation, exchange programs, and defense connections between the Armed Forces of Pakistan and Bangladesh. The visiting official praised the professionalism of the Pakistan Armed Forces and acknowledged their efforts in promoting regional peace and stability. The Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces reaffirmed Pakistan’s dedication to maintaining long-lasting defense relations with Bangladesh.

Additionally, Air Chief Marshal Hasan Mahmood Khan, Chief of Air Staff of the Bangladesh Air Force, visited Admiral Naveed Ashraf, NI, NI (M), T Bt, Chief of the Naval Staff, at the Naval Headquarters in Islamabad. Upon arriving at the Naval Headquarters, the visiting official was welcomed by the Chief of the Naval Staff.

During the meeting, topics of shared professional interest, the changing regional security landscape, and ways to further strengthen bilateral defense cooperation were addressed. The Naval Chief emphasized the Pakistan Navy’s dedication to regional maritime peace and stability through its various efforts.
