At least three people lost their lives in a Russian strike on Kyiv

At least three individuals lost their lives due to a Russian strike in Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine, according to Mayor Vitali Klitschko, who also mentioned that 13 people were injured in the incident.

As per Klitschko, one of the victims was a medical worker attending to a structure that had been struck by a drone, prior to the building being hit again.

It was not immediately clear if the medical professional was part of the count mentioned by the Kyiv mayor.

This occurred as missile alerts were broadcast throughout Ukraine.

In the western Ukrainian city of Lviv, critical infrastructure was targeted by a Russian strike, as stated by city Mayor Andriy Sadovy, who mentioned that emergency services are currently working to put out the fire.

Russia dismissed the proposal of European peacekeepers being sent to Ukraine as part of a bilateral peace initiative just hours prior to the attack, while also labeling Kyiv and its partners as a “war axis.”
