It’s well known that aAppleTelevision is a great complement to any home theater system, but currently, it’s the worst time to make a purchase.

The AppleThe TV was last updated in 2022 with the release of the 4K 3rd Generation. The standard 64GB model is priced at R2,999 at the iStore, whereas the 128GB version costs R3,599.

When you attempt to gather more information about the 3rd Gen on the iStore, there is no indication that this product is now four years old.

The most significant update, however, is that the new model is anticipated very soon. According to speculation, the new model could arrive as early as later this month, although the general belief is that it will be released in March.

March Product Launches: Apple TV Upgrade Expected to Feature A17 Pro Chip

This implies that if you purchase an Apple TV now, you’re spending your hard-earned money on a processor that is nearly five years old.

The upcoming Apple TV is expected to feature an A17 Pro chip, initially introduced in the iPhone 15 series in 2023. Additionally, it’s likely that the standard storage capacity will be expanded, and the cost could potentially be reduced.

For all these reasons, it doesn’t make any sense to purchase the Apple TV 4K 3rd Gen at this time.
