If you’re seeking a complete escape, a high-end hotel located among the stars might be exactly what you need.
A U.S. startup named Galactic Resource Utilization (GRU) Space is aiming to construct a lunar resort, with plans to welcome visitors within six years.
It is currently requesting aspiring space travelers to put down a £750,000 deposit to reserve a five-night trip, which could ultimately exceed £7.5 million.
Founder of GRU Space, Skyler Chan, 22, a recent graduate from Berkeley inCalifornia, believes the hotel will enable humans to establish a presence on the Moon, and ultimatelyMars.
“The shift of humanity into a space-faring civilization is not a matter of whether, but when,” he stated.
We are living through a critical moment where we have the potential to become a multi-planetary species before we pass away. If we achieve this, billions of human lives will come into existence on the Moon and Mars, allowing them to appreciate the wonders of life on these celestial bodies.

When I was a child, I always wished to travel to space. However, this is a highly complicated challenge. It’s not similar to constructing a bridge. It involves a distinct gravitational setting and different construction materials.
It’s a truly distinctive and thrilling challenge to address, but solving it could lead to an endless number of human lives being born on the Moon and Mars. We are beginning a completely new era of life and culture.
The hotels are merely the beginning, the economic means to bring this about. But once we accomplish it, I hope it will spark a Cambrian explosion of wonderful, thrilling developments, and the future is going to be amazing.
The company is supported by investors who have also funded Elon Musk’s SpaceX. It is also a member of the Nvidia Inception Program.
The original plan involves building an inflatable space hotel on Earth and landing it on the Moon in 2032.
The design is intended to host four visitors, who will reside in rooms that offer views of the stars for a duration of five nights.
The strategy involves installing air reconditioning and oxygen production systems, water reutilization mechanisms, climate regulation, an emergency exit system, and a protective area against solar storm radiation.
Built to function for a decade, the company plans to provide visitors with activities like moonwalking, driving a rover – and also sessions of low-gravity golf.
Mr. Chan envisions a second lunar hotel structure that will be significantly bigger, capable of hosting 10 visitors, and constructed using bricks and concrete derived from substances available on the Moon’s terrain.
“The upcoming billion-dollar company isn’t focused on creating an AI assistant, but rather on constructing the first cities on the Moon and Mars, allowing billions of people to be born,” he stated.
The corporation that fully taps into the energy and resource capabilities of the solar system is set to become the most valuable entity in human history.
It occurs just a few weeks before NASA is scheduled to send its first crew to the Moon in over half a century, aiming to create a lasting lunar base.
