Al-Dabbah, January 16, 2026 (SUNA) – The head of the Armed Forces’ Al-Dabbah Sector, Major General Adil Abdullah, stated that Al-Dabbah Locality is safe and that the sector’s forces are stationed in their assigned zones.

Speaking to the Palm Shield Forces at the sector on Thursday, Major General Abdullah stated that the Al-Dabbah Sector functions according to carefully planned military strategies, adding that forward defensive positions have been strengthened to prevent any suicide attacks by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia against the area.

He mentioned that coordinated patrols have been initiated to address smuggling, human trafficking, and cross-border criminal activities, emphasizing that Al-Dabbah Locality functions as a key trading center and the primary route supplying Kordofan and Darfur.

The head of the sector emphasized that initiatives will remain focused on ensuring safety and order throughout Al-Dabbah Locality.
