Unbeknownst to many, George operates a soccer academy in Kenya called Jamhuri Soccer Academy, which aligns with his other venture, 82 Sports.
Via 82 Sports, George has introduced an enticing prize fund for a local competition involving young teams, aiming to promote community-level football.
George’s tournament, called the 82 Ultimate Cupis scheduled for Friday, January 30, to Sunday, February 1.
The competition is scheduled to take place at the Kenya Police Sacco Stadium.
Eight teams will compete against each other for the KSh 1 million prize, including Jamhuri Soccer Academy.
Other teams are Leads United, Mathare North United, FC Creative Hands, SHOFCO, A1000 Sportiff, Tusker Youth FC, and Toronto Football Club.
