The Ghana Football Association plans to conduct an in-depth mid-season evaluation session for Match Commissioners on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, as part of its continuous efforts to enhance match management and administration within Ghanaian football.

The phased participation will gather representatives from the Premier League, Division One League, and the Women’s Premier League in three distinct meetings.

The Premier League Match Commissioners will convene initially at 5:00pm, after which the Division One representatives will gather at 6:00pm, with the schedule wrapping up at 7:00pm for the Women’s Premier League commissioners.

The assessment is set to evaluate the commissioners’ work throughout the first half of the season, while also looking into the operational difficulties faced on match days.

Event organizers state that the meetings will emphasize promoting optimal procedures, enhancing compliance with FA guidelines, and equipping referees for a more effective second half of the season.

In addition to evaluation, the meetings will provide a forum for giving feedback, enhancing skills, and ensuring better conformity with the Football Association’s guidelines on match management.

With this program, the FA seeks to enhance professionalism, uniformity, and effectiveness in matchday management, ensuring better collaboration among involved parties and the seamless running of league competitions for the rest of the season and onwards.
