A standout viral content piece from 2025, Red Bull’s film for Ford starring Max Verstappen and Chris Harris, won the highly coveted Brand Partnership Award at the 38th edition.Awards.

A 38-minute version, which has received nearly eight million views on YouTube and drawn more than 9000 comments, won in a competitive group of submissions, the biggest collection yet for the award.

The movie showcases Harris and Verstappen on location as they drive various Ford Performance vehicles from different eras. Harris encourages Verstappen to share his driving philosophy, and the Dutch driver reveals numerous fascinating personality traits and methods in a spontaneous and captivating manner.

The group of independent expert judges all agreed that the movie was a perfect demonstration of outstanding storytelling in brand collaboration. They appreciated the genuine and friendly connection between the four-time world champion and the automotive presenter, as well as how it effectively met Ford’s goals and reached the intended audience.

They observed that it was remarkable how Red Bull succeeded in connecting Verstappen with Ford, despite the official on-track collaboration only starting this season. The award was presented to Ben Harris, senior manager for creative projects at Red Bull.

The judges also gave high praise to the Santander UK Open Academy initiative, featuring F1, which included former world champion Jenson Button, and saw significant participation.

Other shortlisted entries included the Jack Whitehall film series by Marriott Bonvoy in partnership with the Mercedes F1 team, the Elemis campaign featuring the Aston Martin F1 team, and an unconventional collaboration between Shell and IBM for an AI fan engagement initiative with Ferrari.

The panel of judges featured Alex Jacques, the Channel 4 F1 commentator, Sam Agini, a writer from the Financial Times, Matthew Marsh, a specialist in sponsorship, and Kate Beavan, who previously served as F1’s Director of Hospitality and Experiences.

Other honors determined by panels of experts are the Pioneering and Innovation Award and the Promoter of the Year.

Categories chosen through fan voting feature Driver of the Year, Rookie of the Year, Moment of the Year sponsored by Bahrain International Circuit, Competition Car of the Year, Rally Driver of the Year, and British Competition Driver of the Year. Two new awards for 2025 are Team of the Year and Creator of the Year.
