Robert Kubica’s triumph with Ferrari at the Le Mans 24 Hours has been named Autosport’s 2025 Moment of the Year, sponsored by the Bahrain International Circuit.
A former Formula 1 driver participated in Le Mans, piloting the AF Corse-affiliated Ferrari 499P alongside Yifei Ye and Phil Hanson. The team achieved Ferrari’s 12th victory at Le Mans, finishing 14.1 seconds ahead of the leading Porsche.
Kubica’s triumph at Le Mans marked his greatest achievement since making a comeback to motorsport after his severe rally accident in 2011.

Kubica’s achievement was revealed at a glamorous 38th editionAutosport Awardson 21 January at London’s Roundhouse. This marks the first instance where Moment of the Year has been awarded to an individual from the World Endurance Championship.
Additional categories determined through fan voting consist of Driver of the Year, Rookie of the Year, Competition Car of the Year, Rally Driver of the Year, and British Competition Driver of the Year. For 2025, two new honors introduced are Team of the Year and Creator of the Year.
Additional honors, determined by panels of experts, feature the Pioneering and Innovation Award, Promoter of the Year, and Brand Partnership of the Year.
