The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has selected a 16-player team for the upcoming three-game T20I series against Australia at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. The games are scheduled for January 29, 31, and February 1, starting at 4pm PKT.

Babar Azam and Shaheen Shah Afridi are back in the T20I team following their absence during the three-game tour of Sri Lanka in January. Shadab Khan will keep progressing from his return in the last T20I series and will be a key member of a solid spin-bowling group that includes Abrar Ahmed, Mohammad Nawaz, and Usman Tariq.

The Pakistani team and player support staff are scheduled to gather in Lahore on Saturday, January 24, and will start their preparations for the series the next day. Australia is set to arrive in Pakistan on Wednesday (January 28) and will participate in their second series in this format on Pakistani soil, following a single T20I match held at Gaddafi Stadium in April 2022.
