Rwanda Energy Group (REG) capitalized on their home advantage to beat Police VC in straight sets (25–17, 25–23, 25–18) at Ste Famille Gymnasium on Friday. REG took control in the first set, establishing an early five-point lead and keeping it throughout. Although Police VC’s right attacker Elphas Makuto tried to reduce the gap, REG stayed calm and won the set 25–17. In the second set, Fred Musoni’s team regrouped and challenged REG. With the score tied at 23–23 late in the set, REG used their strong defense to win the last two points and take the set 25–23. They carried that momentum into the third set, which they won 25–18 to complete the three-set victory.
