The former CEO of ADOR, Min Hee-jin, will hold an urgent press meeting to respond to claims of “NewJeans interference” (contact prior to the end of the contract) and share their stance.
On the 27th, Kim Seon-woong, a legal representative from the law firm that handles former CEO Min’s case, disclosed via a press statement that a press conference will take place in a venue in Seoul on the afternoon of the 28th.
Lawyer Kim said, “The aim of this press conference is to present the facts about the so-called ‘NewJeans interference’ claims, which are connected to ADOR’s legal action against former CEO Min and ADOR’s contract termination and compensation lawsuit against certain NewJeans members.”
Nevertheless, former CEO Min will not be present at the press conference. Attorney Kim will instead express her stance.

Previously, all members of NewJeans stated their desire to return to their agency, ADOR, in November of last year. During that time, Haerin and Hyein announced their return following earlier conversations with ADOR, and a few hours later, Minji, Hanni, and Danielle also issued individual statements indicating their intention to come back.
However, ADOR announced the end of Danielle’s exclusive contract on December 29 of last year. ADOR said, “Since the final decision in the lawsuit regarding the validity of the exclusive contract, we have had numerous discussions with Minji, Hanni, Danielle, and the families of the three members.” They further mentioned, “After heartfelt conversations, Hanni chose to remain with ADOR, respecting the court’s decision. Minji is also in talks with ADOR and continues to participate in discussions to enhance mutual understanding.”
However, they said, “In Danielle’s case, we determined that it would be challenging for her to remain a member of NewJeans and an artist under ADOR, so we informed her of the contract termination today.” They further mentioned, “We intend to hold legally accountable the family member of Danielle and the former CEO Min Hee-jin, who are largely responsible for this conflict and the delay in NewJeans’ departure and return.”
Later, ADOR initiated a legal action seeking damages and penalties against Danielle, one of Danielle’s relatives, and former CEO Min, totaling 43.1 billion South Korean won. ADOR mentioned, “We will hold legally accountable Danielle’s family and former CEO Min Hee-jin, who are significantly responsible for this conflict and the delay in NewJeans’ exit and return.”
