Thomas Frank saluted his Tottenhamplayers following their victory over Eintracht Frankfurt to secure a spot in the round of 16 of theChampions League.
Tottenham delivered one of their finest performances of the campaign, netting two goals in the second half via Randal Kolo Muani and Dominic Solanke, securing a fourth-place finish in the league stage with 17 points and six shutouts.
Extremely pleased with the performance,” said Frank enthusiastically. “The players demonstrated remarkable strength and mindset. We had only 12 players available for Dortmund, and in this match as well as both games, the players rose to the occasion.
This match, we were largely in control from start to finish. That’s significant. I must mention, we’ve witnessed some of the outcomes in the Champions League this evening. We’ve seen similar results during the league stage. There are no straightforward matches.
So, we’re here with 17 points, concluding as fourth in the group stage, and securing six clean sheets. I believe it’s quite remarkable.
Kolo Muani, who was involved in a car accident the day before the match, became the star of the evening, scoring against one of his old clubs, just as he had done previously.Paris Saint-Germain.

He positioned himself in front of Solanke and immediately performed well, scoring the opening goal from near the goal in the early stages of the second half.
He was prepared,” said Frank. “Naturally, if there had been any uncertainty about his ability to play, we wouldn’t have proceeded. But he was fine, with no physical or mental effects from the accident.
I was extremely pleased that he scored the goal. In fact, he appeared as a real danger. He has made excellent plays throughout the match. So I’m really glad he managed to score and I told him, please start scoring against teams other than your old clubs, that would be great.
We are aware that when you join a new club, a new country, it’s never easy and certainly not in the Premier League. I hope this will boost his confidence.
