Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu

Former Ghana national team midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu has been named International Relations Manager for Aduana FC, a club in the Ghana Premier League, bringing his expertise and international network to the team’s leadership.

In his latest position, Agyemang-Badu is anticipated to establish frameworks aimed at enhancing player growth and global visibility, while also utilizing his connections to create beneficial strategic alliances for the team.

The announcement was made publicly on Wednesday, January 28, while the team was engaged in a practice session.

Speaking to the club’s management, technical team, and players, Agyemang-Badu thanked the club’s owner, Nana Agyemang Badu II, and detailed his dedication to the sustained development of Aduana FC.

“I appreciate Nana Agyemang Badu II, the management, CEO Atta Poku, and the technical staff. I observed the team’s previous match, and I am here to assist the club in achieving success. When someone invests in football, they should derive benefits from it,” he stated.

He emphasized the significance of establishing robust systems and high-quality standards, pointing out that Aduana FC needs to set itself up to draw in opportunities outside of local backing.

“It’s not always feasible for the CEO to return to Nana for assistance. We require quality that can promote itself. My role is to establish connections beyond. I already have a few, but we also need to develop new ones. We must market the name Aduana,” Agyemang-Badu further stated.

Aduana FC is hoping that the inclusion of the former midfielder in the management team will lead to consistent development both on and off the field. Meanwhile, the two-time champions of the Ghana Premier League are scheduled to play against FC Samartex in their Matchday 21 match at the Nana Agyemang Badu I Park.
