Four kids eventually made their way back homeUtahafter they were supposedly taken by their mother, who was worried about an upcoming end of the world.

Elleshia Anne Seymour, 35, sparked an international manhuntIn December, when her ex-husband, Kendall Seymour, discovered that she had taken her four children, Landon, 11; Levi, 8; Hazel, 7; and Jacob, 3, to Europe to avoid the ‘end times.’

The mother is said to have relocated the children to reside with a different woman and her 13-year-old son, who eventually discovered that the children and their mother were the focus of an international search.

She was subsequently arrested in Croatia, where she is currently detained on allegations of breaching children’s rights, although her children had already beenleft in a legal gray area at an orphanagein the city of Dubrovnik.

They have now been placed under Kendall’s care, he mentioned in anupgrade to an online donation campaignHe had arranged it to assist with his and his fiancée’s journey to Europe on January 29.

Ultimately, on Sunday, he announced, “WE ARE BRINGING THE KIDS HOME!”

Kendall stated that the Social Services in the country told him and his fiancée, Heather, that they had finished their inquiry regarding the kidnapping, returned the children’s passports, and ‘allowed us to collect the kids from the children’s group home in the morning.’

This involved Kendall’s children, the three oldest ones, along with Jacob, Elleshia’s child from a previous marriage, who came under Kendall’s legal authority.

“Thank you VERY MUCH to everyone who has assisted us in finding and advocating for these children,” Kendall wrote to the almost 930 individuals who contributed more than $57,000.

Absolutely, we couldn’t have accomplished this without each of you and our incredible family and friend network. We truly don’t know where we’d be (or where the children would be) without your support.

He mentioned that he and Heather purchased some essential items for the orphanage in Croatia, “based on what the children have indicated they need.”

We wish to discover additional methods of giving back, not solely because they provided our children with affection and attention, but also to attempt to enhance the lives of those children who remain.

Meanwhile, Elleshia is still in custody in Croatia while the office of Salt Lake County District Attorney Sam Gill collaborates with federal officials to arrange her extradition to the United States, where she is being charged with four instances of custodial interference.

Both Kendall and Jacob’s father have stated shedid not obtain their consentto take the children abroad and remained unaware of Elleshia’s intentions until two days after she was seen guiding them through a terminal at Salt Lake City International Airport on November 30.

Kendall claimed he had intended to take their children to Europe, but that was before she was seen with them in a terminal at Salt Lake City International Airport on November 30.

As the family subsequently looked into what had happened to their missing children, they uncovered her anxieties about the end of the world, as revealed through her social media activity, items found in her house, and comments she shared with others, according to reports.ABC4

She shared clips on TikTok about her end-of-the-world visions and encouraging others to gather basic supplies.

The last days represent a Christian perspective that includes different understandings of end-time biblical verses, yet many people think it encompasses a set of major events prior to Christ’s return to the planet.

In a particular video, she mentioned that she had a dream involving an electromagnetic pulse attack which led to airplanes crashing, computers ceasing to function, and individuals being deprived of food, water, and heating.

“The Lord is attempting to convey to people that a harsh winter is coming,” she cautioned.

A former partner also informed authorities that Elleshia had “recently talked about getting passports and leaving the country, voicing worries about biblical occurrences and the ‘end of the world,’” as stated in Utah court records.

Subsequently, when police inspected her residence, they discovered a journal detailing intentions to destroy records, dispose of mobile devices, and surrender travel documents.

However, Kendall informed KSL-TV last month that he was entirely unaware of his ex-wife’s views.

“I wasn’t aware of any of her concepts until a few weeks ago when someone discovered her TikTok profile,” he mentioned at that time.

She believes Salt Lake will be destroyed and is attempting to take the children to safety. My only hope is that her desire to safeguard them is genuine.

He stated, “There were no indications of that during our marriage or the divorce over the past five years.”

The family was left with more questions than answers until the end of January, when they found out that Elleshia and the children had been staying with a woman and her 13-year-old child, who apparently had no knowledge that the mother of four was being searched for.

However, after one of Elleshia’s children informed the 13-year-old, both Elleshia and the other woman—now recognized as 49-year-old Lovie McVeigh from Georgia—were arrested, and all the children were sent to the orphanage.

“One of my children said to him, ‘Hey, search for my name, Google my name, you’ll find it,’ ” the father said about the conversation.

The father of three has later mentioned that the unidentified 13-year-old boy’s ‘circumstances are even more challenging than those of my own children.’

He and McVeigh have been residing in Croatia for more than a year, moving to the European nation because McVeigh thought it was the most secure location during the end times,Douglas Now reports.

She shared comparable opinions with Elleshia and posted the same messages on social media, Saige Cruz, whose father had previously been married to McVeigh, told WALB.

Cruz mentioned that her previous stepmother informed the family she would be away from the country for a while, but she remained unaware of McVeigh’s location until Elleshia’s story was published and she started conducting her own investigation.

She subsequently observed the parallels between Elleshia’s views and McVeigh’s online posts, and began closely following the case—especially after an interview with the children’s aunt, where she stated that she traveled to Croatia with her nieces and nephews.

During that interview, [the aunt] mentioned that the woman from Utah was originally with an American from Georgia,” Cruz said. “And so, from that point on, I continued watching interviews and kept investigating, doing research.

She continued by stating that the boy’s family “is definitely trying to bring him back,” explaining that they are collaborating with the US Embassy and Croatian officials to send the child back to Georgia.

The procedure includes submitting paperwork, confirming personal identities and residence, and dealing with language difficulties and varying legal frameworks.

Nevertheless, the family believes it is all worth the effort.

“He requires a consistent home, surroundings, and regular schooling. Just a typical childhood,” Cruz remarked.

Meanwhile, Kendall mentioned that he and Heather are setting aside money to assist with the child’s legal expenses “to get him into a good position, wherever he sees as home.”

“He has been extremely anxious about not being able to stay in touch with his family and friends (‘they might think I’m dead’), so we have bought a good phone with a service plan,” Kendall wrote on GoFundMe.

Fortunately, he managed to re-enter his previous applications and get back in touch with friends he hadn’t spoken to in weeks,” he said, mentioning that the couple also entered their contact details into his phone “so he can contact us for assistance whenever needed.

At the same time, McVeigh, who has encountered Croatian authorities at least once since relocating to the nation, is now being charged with endangering a child.

She is currently dealing with two unresolved felony cases and an active misdemeanor criminal trespassing warrant in Coffee County, Georgia, though it is still uncertain if she will encounter any further charges in the state.
