The South Korean team arrived at the San Siro Stadium in Milan, Italy, at approximately 9:07 p.m. local time on the 6th. They were the 22nd country to arrive out of 92 participating nations.
Speed skater Park Ji-woo and figure skater Cha Jun-hwan, who painted the national flag on their faces, took the lead by jointly carrying a large national flag.
Representatives from the sports sector, such as delegation leader Lee Soo-kyung and Jincheon Athlete’s Village director Kim Taek-su, came next. A group of 21 individuals, including 15 athletes headed by figure skaters Lee Hae-in and Shin Ji-ah, entered while holding the national flag.

At the same time, South Korean athletes took turns stepping onto the stages in Livigno, Predazzo, and Cortina d’Ampezzo.
In Livigno, snowboard cross athlete Woo Su-bin, acting as the “mini flag bearer,” moved forward with snowboard alpine and snowboard halfpipe competitors.

In Cortina d’Ampezzo, skeleton athlete Hong Soo-jung stepped onto her teammates’ shoulders and held up a sign that said “Korea.” Behind her, athletes participating in bobsleigh and luge waved their hands as they emerged.
In Predazzo, cross-country skier Lee Jun-seo arrived with a cheerful expression along with two officials.
The initial event for this competition took place at the same time in four different areas. This is due to the fact that the activities are taking place in six locations spread across four regions.
The count of attendees at the opening ceremony is set by the organizing committee based on the number of athletes taking part. South Korea received applications from athletes to take part in the opening ceremony, and any remaining spots are filled by staff members.
