Destiny Ahamefula, known by her stage name Derah, is a 17-year-old influencer from Ghana who focuses on lifestyle, beauty, and fashion content.

In 2025, she earned her West African Senior High School Certificate (WASSCE) from the second-level educational institution known as West Africa Senior High School (WASS), situated in Adenta within the Greater Accra Region of Ghana.

She is cherished for appearing in several well-known television advertisements for the leading supermarket, Melcom Ghana.

In one of the notorious advertisements, Destiny Ahamefula, who was quite young then, was captured inside a Melcom store looking at televisions whileAsamoah Gyan approached her.

He observed that she was wearing an adorable blue shirt featuring his name and phone number on the back. Smiling, he introduced himself, but the young girl didn’t accept his claim.

To persuade her, Gyan demonstrated his skills by juggling the Jabulani football from the 2010 FIFA World Cup held in South Africa, yet she remained unconvinced that he was the genuine Asamoah Gyan.

Irritated, the soccer player exited the store with his purchases. Outside, photographers gathered around him, and the girl eventually recognized who he was. Nevertheless, by the time she realized the truth, his car had already left.
