After a highly visible disagreement with his own family,Adam Peatyhas granted a significant honor to the father-in-lawGordon Ramsay.

Inviting his own parents without being askedhis marriage to Holly Ramsay, 26, in December, the celebrity chef has announced that Olympian Adam, 30, now refers tohim ‘dad’.

The Olympic champion has been in conflict with his Peatys teammates since November, except forhis sister, Bethany, whom influencer Holly invited to be one of her bridesmaids.

Although his mother, Caroline, has openly expressed the harm the conflict has brought her, even calling Gordon a ‘bully,’ it appears that Adam is fully adjusted to his new life.

Speaking to The Sun, Hell’s Kitchen star and devoted father Gordon, 59, mentioned that he feels as though he has gained a son, rather than lost a daughter, after Holly’s wedding at Bath Abbey.

He refers to me as dad,” he said about Adam. “He messaged me and said, ‘Hey, Dad. What do you have? Hey, Dad. Are you available later?’

And it’s just like, ‘Oh my God.’ Amazing. And what a wonderful pair.

He called Adam and Holly “a dream” to him and his wife of 30 years, Tana.

Gordon continued by remembering the day his oldest daughter said “I do,” becoming emotional just by recalling the moment he walked her down the aisle.

And I kind of gained a new son, instead of saying goodbye to Holly,” he added. “An amazing day. And yes, Bath Abbey, it’s truly beautiful, very beautiful.

Everything turned out remarkably smoothly.

His commendation of Adam follows a series of verbal exchanges with Caroline and Mark Peaty, who were ‘outraged’ when Gordon mentioned the conflict.was ‘self-inflicted’ by them.

In his initial remarks, Gordon stated, “we’ve done nothing,” including displaying any “rude behavior” or “lack of knowledge” toward them.

Insisting Caroline and Mark were ‘welcomed’ by him and Tana, he said: ‘We arranged a driverless car for them to attend the engagement party and treated them as if they were royalty. So, receiving such a flood of media attention was very painful. Tana took it very seriously.’

Retaliating, a Peaty family representative statedThe SunGordon is merely a large bully, and we despise bullies.

Moving forward, Gordon again replied, dismissing their claims as ‘complete nonsense’

“I most certainly am not a bully,” he defended during an interview.

I believe when you dispatch private driver vehicles up toNottinghamto invite this amazing family to come and join their celebration – by the way, Holly and Adam were the ones hosting the event, while Caroline and Mark, along with Tana and me, were the guests – [it’s] utterly shocking to even imply that there was any bullying. That’s complete nonsense.

Secondly, opening our door and welcoming them into the family, ultimately, there was a lot of conflict before everything, and so there were some issues they needed to resolve, which made it unfortunate to witness the wave of negativity that came from them.

Gordon also proposed that the Peatys began ‘appreciating this type of media coverage’ and would ‘take pleasure in it’.

You’re somewhat nourishing the creature.

News started circulating about the swimmer’s family when his brother, James, wastaken into custody for allegedly threatening him.

Police met Adam at Manchester Airport after his trip to Budapest, guiding him safely through the building and then confirming that a person had been taken into custody and subsequently released on bail ‘on suspicion of harassment’.

Adam and James’s father, Mark, later admitted that things had ‘gone too far,’ as the brothers had ‘always been close’ and were able to ‘argue and reconcile like any typical family.’

It is thought that the tension started after Caroline backed James, with Adam’s only public comment being anInstagrama post in which he stated there are ‘two sides to every story’ and asserted ‘serious issues emerged well before the recent events’ that he was unable to discuss.

Alas, it seems distance only grewbetween him and his parents.

It is reported that his father was invited to attend his and Holly’s wedding, yet he decided not to come, having been told to “sit at the back.” Meanwhile, Caroline had initially promised to “watch from the street” as a form of protest, but changed her mind after her husband persuaded her that it would be too “upsetting.”

Throughout, she had the complete support of her ‘protector’ and sister, Louise, who has certainly not held back in expressing her opinions about her nephew in recent months.

It is reported that she sent him a strict text message several hours prior to his wedding, stating: ‘I hope you never experience the level of pain you have caused your mother, and even now, she still loves you. Both of you should feel ashamed. Shame.’

Keep in mind, on this, your most joyful day, and every anniversary of your most joyful day, that you caused your mother such profound pain that her soul cries out.

Adam was reportedly blocking his family by then, so he didn’t receive it.

He also removed other relationships from the guest list, such as his great aunt Janet, 73, and uncle Eddie, who got an automated message just a few days prior, even though they had already paid for their clothes and lodging.

The athlete has also moved away from old friends, with additional reports suggesting that gold medalist Michael Gunning was not invited, even though he attended the couple’s engagement party and consistently showed public support for Adam.

Nevertheless, the wedding was a tremendous success, with family friends David and Victoria Beckham present, the fashion designer even outfitting the bridesmaids in her dresses.

Adam and Holly left for a honeymoon tripright after, posting numerous photos on social media from their tropical getaway.

After coming back, Adam wrote a Valentine’s Day message for his wife, saying: ‘What a month it has been during our honeymoon and such an amazing way to finish it in Singapore. So many incredible memories that I will treasure forever.’
